Michal Fedačka Upholstery is a family-owned business that has been operating in the market since 1996, building its success primarily on genuine quality. We founded the company as a father and son duo, offering upholstery and carpentry services not only in Sadská and the wider vicinity of Nymburk city but also catering to clients from the Central Bohemian region and Prague. At present, we provide a wide spectrum of services. Every client receives an individualized approach and advice based on years of experience in the field.

CHAIR RENOVATION FROM THE 1930s-1960s

We give retro chairs a completely new look. The carpentry work involves sanding, staining, and lacquering. We craft the interior padding from high-quality materials. Upholstery is tailored to your preference. It can be embellished with welt cord trim around the edges or stitching. A chair crafted with such quality will bring you joy for many years.

We renovate retro chairs according to customer requirements. We assist in selecting fabric from a wide range of options in the sample book and with the most suitable material treatment. RENOVATION PROCESS

We remove the old upholstery and interior material. What remains is the bare frame, which is treated. Armrests are hand-sanded down to the base. The sanded wood is then stained to the chosen shade and sprayed with several layers of lacquer (brand: Milesi). Upholstery: Straps are attached to the frame and covered with fabric. Then, the selected material is glued to the seat and backrest, tailored to the curvature of the backrest and seat. Fabric pieces are sewn together gradually using a sewing machine, and welt cord is sewn between the fabrics to highlight the entire piece.
